What Gathena is
Gathena builds agentic knowledge workers for small and medium-sized businesses. A knowledge worker is an AI agent that does a specific job and works with your people, not instead of them.
We also build the data foundation the knowledge workers work from: data pipelines, a warehouse in your own cloud, and the tools your people use to ask questions of the company’s data. We work in the stack you already have.
You control access. An operator at your company reviews the knowledge workers’ work and signs off on what matters.
We built a template of our way of working in our own finance work. It covers what a job is, what comes in, which method applies, which records the job keeps, which checks it runs, where the operator signs off, and how a lesson becomes part of the method. We add your company’s own words on top of the template, so each new knowledge worker is easier to set up.
Who is behind it
Gathena was founded in 2023 by Lasse Feldt-Rasmussen. He holds an MSc in Supply Chain Management and a BSc in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, and has advised companies since 2006, among them as a consultant at EY and as chair of the board of a Danish company. Today he works as a fractional and interim finance leader. He helps companies get control of their numbers, connects the systems that hold those numbers, and builds the agents that do the routine work on top of those systems. He works with the boards and finance teams of Danish companies, in English and Danish.

How we work
The first step depends on where you stand: training or a strategy session, the data foundation, the data pipelines, or a diagnosis of where you are, with a report on where to go next. Your IT, in-house or your IT partner, is at the table from day one. A step is automated only after it has proved reliable, and you stay accountable for what your knowledge workers do.
